Large deciduous tree, 20–30 m tall. Leaves are pinnately compound with 7–15 elliptic to ovate leaflets. Yellow to pale yellow flowers bloom in clusters. Fruits are flat, elongated pods, 10–15 cm long, containing hard seeds. Mostly found in deciduous forests of Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam.
