ไม้ยืนต้นไม่ผลัดใบ สูง 10–20 เมตร ใบรูปรีปลายแหลม ดอกสีขาวนวลหอมแรงโดยเฉพาะตอนเย็นและกลางคืน ออกเดี่ยวตามซอกใบ พบปลูกทั่วไปในเอเชียตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ รวมถึงไทย ลาว เวียดนาม และอินโดนีเซีย
Evergreen tree reaching 10–20 m in height. Leaves are oblong with pointed tips. Flowers are creamy white, solitary, and highly fragrant, especially at dusk and during the night. Widely cultivated in Southeast Asia, including Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Indonesia.
