ไม้ยืนต้นขนาดกลางถึงใหญ่ ผลัดใบ เปลือกสีแดง ใบเดี่ยวเรียวยาว พบในป่าผลัดใบแห้งและป่าดิบแล้งของประเทศไทย ลาว เวียดนาม มาเลเซีย อินเดีย และพม่า
Medium to large deciduous tree with reddish bark and elongated leaves. Mostly found in dry deciduous and semi-evergreen forests of Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Malaysia, India and Myanmar.
